Dr Dai Tran (primary care skin cancer doctor/physician/surgeon)
Dr Dai Tran is one of the happiest 😆 refugee and our skin cancer master and pimple popper champion. For the past 10 years, His work is primarily in surgical disease of the skin. Dr Tran has substantial surgical dermatology and out-patient reconstructive surgery experience. He can pop out your pimple faster than you can say cheese ! He can whip out your skin cancer without dropping a sweat.
Dr Tran understands people in need and doesn’t use high powered lawyers to chase down desperately poor mammas for that extra few cents ! It’s all about Karma with social conscience!
Dr Tran has a University degree in Masters of medicine in the discipline of skin cancer medicine, diploma in practical dermatology, fellow skin cancer college of Australasia and is also a fellow of the royal college of general practice.
Dr Dai Tran has been practising in Wollongong for over 10 years. Previously practising for 7 years at Illawarra dermatology . He is now concentrating in surgical skin disease at Crown skin cancer and surgical dermatology clinic, 332 Crown Street Wollongong.
Dr Tran was a reviewer for the British journal of dermatology in the field of photo dynamic therapy for the treatment of pre-cancerous sun spots. Dr Tran has also published dermatology papers in reputable dermatology medical journals relating to:

- Photodynamic therapy in the treatment of solar keratosis (pre-cancerous lesions) in the Australasian journal of dermatology

Dr Tran was a regular presenter at skin cancer conferences & was involved in aiding and teaching skin cancer skills to dermatology trainees, dermatologists, General practitioners, junior doctors and medical students at the coal face.
He was a foundation member of the skin cancer society of Australasia, whose aim is to teach skin cancer management to GPs hence, demystify and bring accessible skin cancer care to all Australians.
Dr Tran now dedicates his time helping patients with surgical skin disease/s.
