Dr Tran has been serving patients in Wollongong for over 15 years. Previously practicing for 7 years at Illawarra dermatology and laser clinic with Dr Robert Salmon, who has now retired; after serving the community for 35+ years ! Dr Tran&#8217;s work, now, is<strong> primarily in surgical disease of the skin. Dr Tran has substantial surgical dermatology and out-patient reconstructive surgery experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr Tran\u00a0 has a University degree in Masters of\u00a0medicine in the discipline of skin cancer medicine, diploma in practical dermatology, fellow skin cancer college of Australasia and is also a fellow of the royal college of general practice.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Tran was a reviewer for the British journal of dermatology in the field of photo dynamic therapy for the treatment of pre-cancerous sun spots. He has also published dermatology papers in dermatology medical journals relating to skin cancer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Photodynamic therapy in the treatment of solar keratosis (pre-cancerous lesions) in the\u00a0Australasian journal of dermatology<\/li>\n<li>Sunscreens in the Australasian journal of dermatology.<\/li>\n<li>Techniques in sclerotherapy (vein injection, avoiding intra-arterial injection of sclerosant)<\/li>\n<li>Complications in sclerotherapy in Australasian journal of Phlebology<\/li>\n<li>Practice tips for primary care physicians in Australian journal of Family physicians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He was a\u00a0foundation member of the skin cancer society of Australasia, whose aim is to teach skin cancer management to doctors and nurses.\u00a0 Hence, demystify and bring\u00a0accessible skin cancer care to\u00a0<strong>all<\/strong>\u00a0Australians. \u00a0 Skin cancer management is now vastly different and \u00a0much improved than was 10 years ago !<\/p>\n<p>Dr Tran dedicates his time helping patients with surgical skin disease\/s.<\/p>\n<p>-Principle skin cancer practitioner and dermatology procedural practitioner.<br \/>\n\u2013<a href=\"http:\/\/parraskincancer.com.au\/melanoma\">Melanoma\u00a0<\/a>screening, diagnosis and treatment<br \/>\n-Diagnosis and treatment of sun-induced skin cancers<br \/>\n-Simple to advanced complex surgical procedures<br \/>\n-Cosmetic procedures, superficial chemical peels, Anti-winkle injections, facial veins and leg veins injections<br \/>\n-Microphotography of\u00a0<strong>low risk<\/strong> atypical moles for comparison where biopsy is not required.<br \/>\n-Sclerotherapy for spider veins<br \/>\n-Facial vein injections for large disfiguring red-blue vessels<br \/>\n-Removal of\u00a0 facial moles, skin cysts, warts, moles, keloids, lipomas, ingrown toe nails and common skin rashes<br \/>\n-Treatment of \u00a0benign skin lesions e.g. small ganglions, ingrowing toe nails, recalcitrant warts, skin cysts, skin tags, and lumpy moles<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wollongong Skin Cancer Clinic Dr Tran is a skin cancer doctor, Wollongong skin cancer clinic pimple popper and outpatient surgical skin care clinic.
