            No long-haul flights<\/strong> for 2\u20136 weeks after treatment<\/strong>, unless you take blood thinners (e.g., warfarin, Pradaxa, Clexane) to reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            Don\u2019t wait until summer<\/strong>\u2014bruising may linger for months, and you may need to cover your legs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            If you have darker skin<\/strong>, take iron supplements<\/strong>, or have large superficial veins<\/strong>, bruising may last longer<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
